Hi guys! OMG!!! I'm sooo sorry that i haven't been posting, it's just that I've been playing other games (mostly pokemon art academy cuz i love to draw) or not playing my 3DS at all. But Christmas is tomorrow and i probably won't be posting any time soon, with all the presents, and me going to Florida (disney and universal!!!), and everything going on. So expect to see posts some time in early February onwards, maybe late January cuz I'll be leaving for Florida on January 16 or 17.

OK, this is Lex and sorry for not posting yesterday like I said... I'm just SOO hooked to this game and I don't want to stop to talk about it!

So, as I said in a REALLY early post, I picked Treecko (now a Grovyle) and his name is Vynes. Right now my team consists of Vynes, a Dustox named Preydator, a Ralts named Ballerina, a Zigzagoon named Harley, a Poochyena named Fang, and a Wingull named Pelli. I have gotten to the contests and have been doing them for about half and hour to an hour now. I have won the cuteness contest with Preydator, and the coolness contests with Vynes once and Cool Cosplay Pikachu once.

I will post more as more happens. So far I haven't encountered much, like twice from Team Aqua and only one challenge from Branden (rival). So I will update this blog MUCH more often, maybe even daily. But, we'll see as it happens.

DELTA!!!

Ok, ok! I'm super excited because just today GameFreak announced that there will be something called, "The Delta Episode." I'm assuming this will be the post game, but it's DEFINITELY NOT Delta Emerald FOR SURE cuz the game wouldn't have a WHOLE NEW STORY! But, we got A LOT of info on this and the Mirage Spots in ORAS. (P.S. sorry about all the caps, I'm just really excited >w<)

So, first of all, there will be something called "The Delta Episode," which is MOST LIKELY the post game, and it looks much more promising than X and Y's short as heck post game. There is a new character called Zinnia, who is some sort of trainer that The Delta Episode seems to focus on due to the promotional art found in CoroCoro:
As you can see, Zinnia is right SMACK DAB in the middle, so she must have some importance. But other than that, we know NOTHING about her. OH YEAH! Except that she is FREAKY during battle (can't find the image, but believe me, she looks INSANE!) Another thing we know about this is that there will be Deoxys and there will be a WICKED space battle between him and Mega Rayquaza, on which your character appears to be riding in a sweet space helmet (and other gear)! OH YEAH! And an asteroid is about to crash into and possibly destroy the Hoenn region, so yeah, that's a thing.

So, next, about the Mirage Spots. If you don't already know, Mirage Spots are these big black spots in the sky above Hoenn that, when flown into on your Latias, Latios, or Mega Latia(o)s, will contain a legendary Pokemon. The only new thing that has been announced about them is that there have been a TON of new legendaries confirmed for them. These include: The Regi's,(including Regigigas once you catch all the other ones), the weather trio from Unova, the lake trio from Sinnoh, the trio from Johto, Cresselia, Heatran, the Swords of Justice, and all the other legendaries ALREADY confirmed for the Mirage Spots.

So, for the questions of the blog I thought that these would be appropriate:

• What is your favorite NPC, whether it be your rival, team leader, or any other NPC?

Mystery Dungeon?

OK, it's Lex again. I was recently at GameStop looking through the used DS games, when I saw that one case was ENTIRELY devoted to Pokemon. Well, most of those games, although used and with money off cuz we have a pro card, were EXTREMELY expensive. But then I saw that there was a little something called "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team." It was only 16 bucks and I had heard of it, although the only commercial I'd seen was the "Gates to Infinity" commercial with the catchy song (although not as catchy as the "Kirby: Triple Deluxe" commercial). So, I got it and started playing it as soon as I left the mall and I fell in love! The game starts out with a questionnaire with some questions about heroism and such, like "Your friend is being bullied! What do you do? Do you: A) Help without hesitation B) Help, even if scared C) Get an adult first D) Walk away without doing anything" and things like that. Keep in mind this game was made before Gen 4 but after Gen 3. So after a bunch of questions like this one, you are told what Pokemon you are: One of the starters from Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 (or Pikachu). I am a Charmander! After this, you choose your partner from all of the things that you could have become, except for the ones that are the same type as you. I chose Bulbasaur and named her DINA (I name them all in all caps so it can be more easily distinguished from the dialogue). After this you wake up, wondering how you became a Pokemon since you remember you were a human, and then you have to rescue a Butterfree's baby Caterpie from a chasm that opened up in the ground. This consists of many floors of weak Pokemon that Caterpie, the Butterfree mother rewards you with 100 Poke (money) and an Oran Berry. Your partner than shows you a place to stay and asks if you'd like to form a rescue team (I named mine the POKEGUILD) and then the game proceeds with you taking rescue offers and you and your partner rescuing the Pokemon and being rewarded. This is pretty much the main game, And I LOVE it.

WELP

Alrighty. Welp, there has been no new news on ORAS or Pokemon in general. This is upsetting not only to me, but to my blog as I have NO idea what to post and not posting blogs on a blog is quite boring. So...What now?

I guess since there's nothing to talk about I can just go straight to the end of my blog. Maybe from now on if nothing new happens I can just Make a little update blog if I can. So that's what I'm doing now:

CHANGES!

Hey guys, I'm back and I want to announce a few changes. (Already?) I know, right? Well I found out that there was a website called Pokemon Plus so I decided to change the name of the Blog to The Pokemon People. That also means something else though - that there will be more than one author adding posts! Yes, I will soon be adding more friends to make posts on this Blog so posts will be added more often since we have different schedules. I just emailed her and asked if she would and since it's been less than five minutes I have no response yet, but I will have many people adding to The Pokemon People soon enough.

Okay, so a couple days ago when I first made this Blog, I talked about the Demo version for Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire but I hadn't finished yet. Well, I got my Glalie and named her Allie (seemed fitting) and completed the Demo 10 times so I could get all the things you can get to transfer to ORAS when it comes out. It was fun, I like the new interface and icons when battling, and competitions seem SO KEWL! Now, I haven't played Ruby/Sapphire, but there is NO DOUBT  that I'll be playing ORAS since I have already had it preordered (well, my Grammy and Papa preordered it for my birthday coming up BEFORE ORAS comes out) and I will play it the day it comes out, the next day for shipping maybe.

You know, when I was thinking about what I was going to choose for my starter in ORAS, (Alpha Sapphire for me) I found it hard to choose. They all had their own pros and cons, but I couldn't decide which was best for me. Now, I do not like Pokemon that ultimately have just one type, because it's not very effective on a team when you could have a maximum type coverage of 12 types per team. So you would think that Treecko would be out, right? Well, Sceptile is special because he gets a Mega Evolution that gives him the Dragon type, overall making him have 2 types. After making a pros and cons list during Social Studies when Mr. Arruda wasn't looking, I actually ended up picking Treecko overall because he had a score of 1, while Mudkip had 0 and Torchic had -1. But for most people, it's a lot easier than that. So what have/will you choose for ORAS? Tell me in the comment section below!

NERD ALERT

Heyo! I'm a super-huge Pokemon nerd and I can't wait to tell everyone ALL about it!

First of all, I'm Lex. (Hi, Lex) How are you today (Good, how are you?) Oh, you guys. I'm fine, thanks for asking! Anyway, this Blog will be all about Pokemon, me playing Pokemon, and all that other stuff.  So let's get RIGHT into it!

First of all: OMEGA RUBY AND ALPHA SAPPHIRE!!!! Everyone who's anyone is excited about ORAS and I'm definitely someone who's anyone. I'm sure if you're reading this you've heard of all the new Mega Evolutions, and here's a link if you don't know them all by heart like I do:

I recently (like, an hour ago) got the ORAS Demo for the 3DS (since I have an account on pokemon.com and an email adress, they sent me a code to put into the Nintendo 3DS EShop) and I noticed a few things.

When I watched the GameXplain playthrough it was different from mine, since when he played it Steven and Orlando (lol your character) rode on Latias, but when I played it they rode on Latios. Small difference, but still noticeable.

One funny thing I found was that the new SNEAKING ability could be stopped by pressing and holding the B button to sprint. But if you rapidly press the B button while sneaking, it looks like Orlando is hopping on one foot >w< It's so funny looking. It's best seen from the back going up on the screen. I found this HILARIOUS and couldn't find anything else about it on the internet, which I found weird because people have already hacked the ORAS demo to find what's hidden inside, but they didn't find out that if you press this button fast you hop around like a Lopunny!

Now more talk about Mega Evolutions. I have a few questions:

• What is your favorite Mega from X and Y?
• What is your favorite coming out in ORAS?

Not only are Mega Evolutions cool, we wouldn't have them without regular plain old Pokemon. So I have a few questions about them, too:

• What is your favorite Pokemon?
• What is your favorite Pokemon game? 
• What is/was your team from your favorite Pokemon game?

Now my answers:

• My fav Mega from X/Y is a tie between Mega Mawile, Mega Banette, and Mega Ampharos
• My fav Mega coming out is a tie between Mega Altaria and Mega Slowbro
• My fav Pokemon is Espeon
• My fav game HAS to be X because it's the only one I have (But i can name any Pokemon pic you show me, I'm no wimp)
• My team in X is an Azumarill (lvl 100!!!) named Stronger, a Drifblim named Kidnapper, a Haxorus (I got him from Wonder Trade as an Axew on like day 3 of playing), a Vileplume named Weirdo, a Blastoise named Kanto, and my starter was a Fennekin, evolved into a Delphox that I named Mozilla
